The Romero family have baptismal dates for the 25th of this month. They are learning lots and accepting Gods commandments. Marcos and Xioamra told us that they would like to be baptized so we are going to start helping them get married. They already recived and answer that the Book of Mormon is true. I had an exchange with Elder Ratliff a budy from my mtc district. I held a ladys 2 parrots. Carnaval is starting so we can leave for 2 days. Its a holiday here where they have a water fight for 2 days. And paint and eggs and flower i think. I almost got hit by one yesterday. We were able to see 8 friends come to church this sunday. Theres this one crazy guy that wont stop talking to us when we see him in the street. He belives in some crazy stuff like 3 suns and different dimensions and aliens and other Gods. Last couple of weeks 2/23

Hola,

These last 2 weeks we found a family that is super interested in hearing our message and they have come to church both weeks since we found them. They are learning fast and are praying to know if what we are teaching is the truth. The members here in Los Geranios are helping us a lot and are being great friends for all of our investigators at church.

It's been pouring rain the last few weeks off and on but luckily our house hasn't flooded again.

Drain plugged in our apartment (bottom floor flooded)

Sadly we had to see 2 elders go home for health problems this week. :(

One of the Latinos in our house is trying to teach me the guitar.

It felt like this last week we got rejected a lot more than usual by the people we contacted and talked to in the street. Some people aren't very nice.

Half of our area got threatened by some people that left papers at their doors saying that if  "we come to your house and ask for money you better give it to us."

Went on an exchange with Elder Baque and didn't have very many appointments so we ended up contacting a lot we found a lady that's a member but inactive the moved here not too long ago. But she said that her kids still aren't baptized but she was looking for them to get baptized so we are going to start visiting them and getting her to come back to church.

We are going to play ping pong today and drink Mt Dew so I'm pretty excited!

Here in Ecuador, everyone has to go travel to vote where they first became an adult basically so everyone's been traveling this weekend for that. And you have to vote or you're fined.

The assistants to the president have really talked up 100 baptisms as a mission and they are really talking it up but it's definitely possible. The area presidency has said that every companionship can baptize 2 people every month.

Homecoming

 HE'S HOME!!!
